On the Seawall is a vibrant community gallery dedicated to showcasing new writing, art, and insightful commentary, curated under the guidance of Ron Slate. Emphasizing diverse literary forms, On the Seawall features an array of engaging content, including poetry, essays, and flash nonfiction, all aimed at fostering a rich dialogue about contemporary issues and artistic expression. Each edition highlights featured works, such as Lisa Russ Spaar's commentary on Heather Treseler's explorations of femininity, and showcases poignant essays like Daniel Grace's reflection on personal encounters with authority. The gallery is also home to translations of international literature, such as César Dávila Andrade's evocative poetry and nuanced critiques of notable works by both established and emerging authors.
