## Description

Room 209 Gaming creates tabletop roleplaying games and resources, with a focus on Forthright Open Roleplay, its ENnie-nominated universal game system. Designed to support a range of play styles, Forthright includes tools for setting expectations, blending genres, and resolving action quickly through results on the die. The company’s catalog includes the Forthright Toolbox, an expansion with additional Boosts, rules options, and genre guidance, as well as adventures and supplements for different gaming needs. Home of Lost Hope is a horror adventure set in a strange, changing old house, while Wear and Tear offers short, system-agnostic rules for handling damaged or abandoned equipment and treasure. Room 209 also shares design discussions and playtesting opportunities through its Patreon, where members can engage with the development of Forthright Open Roleplay 2nd Edition. Patreon releases include magic, class design, combat, and story supplements, toy-world settings, a campaign, and the complete game Zero Point. The company’s work supports both groups using its own system and players seeking adaptable tabletop materials.
