Room to Read Bangladesh is a dynamic global organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children in low-income communities through a focus on literacy and gender equality in education. Our vision is a world where every child has access to a quality education that empowers them to create positive change. Working closely with local communities, partner organizations, and governments, Room to Read develops literacy skills, fosters a love for reading among primary school children, and supports girls in completing secondary education with the necessary life skills for success.

Since its inception in 2009, Room to Read Bangladesh has been instrumental in implementing literacy and girls' education programs in rural areas with high illiteracy rates. Through strategic collaborations with governmental entities, we have integrated literacy interventions into classrooms and advocated for girls' rights and against child marriage.
