## Description

Ropecon is a Finnish convention organized by Ropecon ry, bringing visitors together for a multi-day event featuring a wide-ranging program, community activities, and opportunities to meet exhibitors. The event offers program guides and scheduled sessions, alongside special attractions such as guest appearances, an academic seminar, the Cold North Open, and a costume competition and show. Visitors can explore a sales area, browse its exhibitor map, and shop at a flea market. The organizers also provide practical information about tickets, opening hours, travel, accommodation, food and drink, accessibility, and safety, helping both first-time attendees and returning visitors plan their visit. Families can find information about Lasten Ropecon, while prospective volunteers, sellers, and exhibitors have dedicated application details and participation terms. Ropecon also shares updates through social media and Discord, and invites visitors to provide feedback through a post-event survey. The 2026 event took place from July 24 to 26, and Ropecon announced that its 2027 convention will be held from July 30 to August 1.
