ROR International is a renowned brand in the world of design and manufacturing. Founded in the early 1960s by Robin Wolchover and Roger Brockbank, ROR began as a small company called Design Associates. Their breakthrough came in 1968 when they started working for Apple, alongside the Beatles' management team.

One of ROR's notable collaborations was with Ringo Starr in 1969, helping him bring his design ideas to life for his new home in Hampstead. This partnership led to the creation of unique stainless steel and glass furniture, with a mutual interest in HiFi bringing innovative results. The birth of the Rolls Royce Table occurred during one of their lunch appointments when Ringo spotted a motor accessory shop with a Rolls Royce radiator.

They decided to incorporate it into a striking coffee table design, which set the stage for a host of new creations. Over the span of ROR's 17-year existence, they showcased their designs at exhibitions in Liberty's, Harvey Nicholls, and even Paris, New York, and Lagos. Their products garnered attention from prestigious clientele, including British Prime Minister, musicians like Rod Stewart and Elton John, and influential figures such as Sheikh Zayed of the UAE.

ROR's offices initially resided in the Apple building before moving to prominent locations in London, including St James Street and Rathbone Place. They even expanded their reach globally, exporting their products to countries like France, Germany, the USA, and the United Arab Emirates. In addition to their existing furniture collection, ROR actively supported new young designers and artists, keeping their creative energy flowing.
