Rose State College is a public, two-year institution with an open-door admissions policy. Established in September 1970 as Mid-Del Junior College, it was later renamed Oscar Rose Junior College in honor of the Midwest City-Del City Superintendent of Schools. Finally, in April 1983, the college was officially rebranded as Rose State College.

Today, the college welcomes over 13,000 students annually and is committed to supporting the success of every student. Rose State College offers a wide range of academic programs and services designed to foster lifelong learning for a diverse population. With 25 buildings spread across a spacious 120-acre campus, the college provides a vibrant and accessible learning environment.
