## Description

Rosenholm Slot is a Renaissance castle and historic Danish manor house located in Hornslet, about 25 minutes from Aarhus. Built between 1559 and 1610 by Jørgen Ottesen Rosenkrantz, it has remained in the Rosenkrantz family’s hands and is described as Denmark’s oldest family estate. Set beside a moat and surrounded by a baroque park, the castle offers a distinctive historical setting for celebrations and visits.

The venue hosts wedding receptions, private parties, birthday celebrations, company events and festive lunches. Its team helps clients plan occasions and can connect them with suppliers suited to their preferences. Rosenholm Slot also works with MIB – Martin Ib and his team to provide catering. Visitors can book public or private guided tours, explore events held throughout the year, or use the castle as a photography location. Personal visits are available for those considering the venue for an event. Through its combination of historic architecture, parkland and event services, Rosenholm Slot provides an atmospheric setting for gatherings and cultural experiences.
