Rose of Sharon Services for Young Mothers is a not-for-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing free counseling, education, and resources to prenatal and parenting young mothers and their families in the York Region. Since 1985, we have been empowering young mothers to embrace their strengths and supporting the future they envision for themselves and their children. Our clients participate in parenting courses, counseling, and high school education in a supportive, learning-centered environment.

We also provide a Child Development Center that looks after babies while young mothers complete their high school diploma. Our programs and services are designed to give hope, create life-changing shifts in perspective, and help young mothers work towards their goals. With the generous support of our community, we are able to enhance the lives of over 300 young mothers and their babies across York Region each year.
