- **Primary alias:** `rostock.ro`

## Description

ROstock is a Romanian stock photography platform created to showcase images by Romanian photographers and connect them directly with people looking to buy photography. Its aim is to help put Romanian photography on the map while providing a local, Made-in-Romania alternative to large international stock photo websites. The platform lists photographs by subject area and displays photographers’ contact details, allowing buyers and creators to arrange transactions directly without reseller commissions. Visitors can browse photography portfolios, including a gallery of images recognized in national and international photography competitions, and explore options to buy or sell photographs. ROstock also offers subscription plans for sellers and buyers. Photographers who do not have their own website can request a dedicated landing page to present their portfolio and other information online. The site describes its service as accessible, simple to use, available around the clock, and designed for responsive viewing, with an emphasis on efficient maintenance and security.
