## Description

Rowsend is a desktop email marketing app for developers and small teams whose customers are stored in their own databases. It connects to services including Supabase, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Firebase, Neon and PlanetScale, reading contact data through a read-only login. Users can create audience segments, personalize campaigns, design branded emails with an editor or custom HTML, and manage preferences and unsubscribes.

Rowsend sends campaigns through the customer’s own provider, such as Amazon SES, Postmark, Mailgun or SMTP, without adding a markup to sending costs. Campaign tools include test emails, scheduling, batch sending, daily limits and delivery reporting for deliveries, bounces, unsubscribes and complaints. The app excludes addresses that bounce or complain, and can pause campaigns if those rates rise. It does not use tracking pixels or rewritten links.

Rowsend can send from a Mac, a customer’s own server using Docker, or Rowsend Cloud, which supports sending while the computer is off.
