## Description

Royal Wiesn is a Bavarian-themed Oktoberfest celebration held at Cologne’s Tanzbrunnen from October 9 to 18, 2026. Bringing the spirit of Munich’s traditional festival to the Rhine, it combines Bavarian hospitality, music, food, beer and fairground attractions for families, friends and businesses. The event features a heated festival tent, traditional brass bands, the Wiesn band Gerry & Gary, Bavarian classics and popular party songs. Guests can enjoy König Ludwig Hell beer, served in a one-litre diamond-patterned mug, alongside freshly baked pretzels, roast chicken, pork dishes, Obazda and vegetarian specialties. Ticket options include reserved seating, standard admission, boxes and VIP galleries, with packages offering meals, drinks and, in some tiers, a commemorative mug. The wider festival grounds are free to enter and include a covered beer garden, a giant Ferris wheel, rides, food stalls, a coffee bar and a spirits bar. Royal Wiesn also offers corporate event spaces for customer gatherings, employee events and networking, and is held under the patronage of Prince Luitpold of Bavaria.
