## Description

Royal Sutton Cycling Club, established in 1967, has been a pivotal institution in the North Birmingham cycling community. Founded by cycling enthusiasts Keith and Joan Edwards, the club initially gained recognition for its involvement in cyclo-cross, highlighted by championship events held in Sutton Park. Over the years, the Royal Sutton CC has expanded its reach, encompassing various cycling disciplines, including road racing, time trials, track cycling, and more recently, mountain biking.

The club fosters a vibrant atmosphere for cyclists of all ages and skill levels, offering opportunities for youth (under 16) and veterans (over 40) to compete and train together. Members have the chance to participate in the local interclub time trial league, racing weekly during the season. Additionally, young cyclists are encouraged to aspire for greatness as part of British Cycling's Talent Team. Royal Sutton CC promotes not only competitive spirit but also camaraderie among local clubs, ensuring a supportive environment for all cycling enthusiasts.
