## Description

Rural Response for Healthy Children is a non-profit charity serving families in Huron and Perth counties since 1987, with a particular focus on rural communities. Its work is dedicated to helping families build a healthy community where children and youth can thrive. The organization offers positive parenting education, child safety and wellness education, peer support groups for families with specific needs, and services that promote the mental health and well-being of parents and children.

Its programs include Baby Love, Caregiver Collective, Circle of Security, Dads & Kids, Family Crockpot Cooking, Family Nature Explorers, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, Nobody’s Perfect, school programs, Sibshops, and Tiny Roots Garden Club. Rural Response for Healthy Children also provides resources on topics such as cannabis and parenting, custody and separation, family budgets, mindfulness, maternal mental health, personal safety, self-regulation, social and emotional learning, and preparing for kindergarten. Families can explore program offerings, connect through the organization’s mailing list, and support its work through donations and community events such as the Woodland Walk & Run.
