## Description

RacingRulesOfSailing.org is an independent, unofficial online resource designed to help sailing competitors, coaches, judges and race officials understand how racing rules are interpreted and applied. Its searchable, clearly organized library brings together the Racing Rules of Sailing, definitions, World Sailing cases and questions, match-racing and team-racing calls, national appeals, prescriptions and judges’ guidance. Materials cover multiple rule editions, including the 2025–2028 rules, alongside resources from national authorities.

Beyond rules reference, the site provides practical tools for running sailing events. Organizers can manage event registration, accept payments in multiple currencies, score low-point, bonus-point and handicap fleets, publish standings, and handle documents, scoring inquiries, hearing schedules and decisions. Competitors can communicate electronically with officials, review recent regatta information and file protests for participating events. Forums and help resources offer additional ways to seek guidance and discuss rule questions. RacingRulesOfSailing.org describes itself as a resource for improving users’ understanding of the sport and the tactical implications of the rules; it also states that it is not affiliated with World Sailing.
