## Description

Refugee Support Group is a Berkshire-based charity dedicated to helping refugees and asylum seekers rebuild their lives. Established in 1994 by a group of refugees, we have since provided essential services to hundreds of individuals and families from over 50 countries. Our mission is to support those who have escaped war, violence, persecution, and human trafficking. At Refugee Support Group, we offer a variety of services to empower and assist our community. Our OISC accredited Solicitor and Caseworkers provide free, confidential advice and practical support. We also prioritize education and integration by running befriending sessions and conversation classes, facilitating access to work and volunteering opportunities, and organizing a Homework Club for children. Additionally, we create a safe space for refugees through our Drop-In center and promote social integration by fostering activities such as our refugee football team, Sanctuary Strikers F.C. By accessing their rights, providing specialized services, and campaigning for refugee issues, Refugee Support Group aims to empower and rebuild lives. You can support our cause by becoming a member, fundraising, volunteering, or leaving a gift in your will. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of refugees in Berkshire.
