The Real Sociedad Matemática Española (RSME) is a distinguished professional society dedicated to the advancement and promotion of mathematics in Spain. Founded to support mathematicians, the RSME engages in various activities, including organizing conferences, seminars, and educational programs, such as the Lluís Santaló and Miguel de Guzmán Schools. The society’s commitment to research is exemplified by its publications, including the renowned *Revista Matemática Iberoamericana* and the *Boletín de la RSME*, alongside collaborative editions with prestigious entities like the AMS and Springer. RSME also actively promotes mathematics through competitions, awards, and initiatives aimed at engaging the public and enhancing literacy in math. Notable awards, such as the José Luis Rubio de Francia and various medals, celebrate achievements in the mathematical community. Furthermore, RSME fosters opportunities for young researchers through its biennial congress and focuses on increasing representation in STEM fields. With a dedicated virtual store for educational materials and books, RSME supports both the academic and the general public's interest in mathematics.
