## Description

RUBRECHTCONTEMPORARY, also known as Galerie Leander Rubrecht, is a contemporary art gallery in Wiesbaden, Germany. Its program presents changing bodies of work by represented artists alongside curated group exhibitions, placing individual practices in a wider artistic context. The gallery also develops projects with fellow gallerists, curators and exhibition venues, and participates in art fairs, including art KARLSRUHE.

The gallery showcases and offers contemporary artworks across a range of forms. Recent exhibitions have featured paintings by Römer + Römer and Torsten Derk, as well as paintings and sculptures by Andreas Rimpel. Its projects extend beyond gallery exhibitions: The Red Couch UNITY and REVISITED rework Kevin Clarke’s portrait project through film, digital staging and limited editions. The gallery also supports art education through Kunstscouts, a project created with a school in Taunusstein, and presents exhibitions in partner venues such as the Oberlandesgericht Koblenz. RUBRECHTCONTEMPORARY is a member of the German Association of Galleries and Art Dealers (BVDG). Visitors can arrange appointments outside its regular Wednesday-to-Friday opening hours.
