## Description

Rugby 247 is a rugby news website that gathers coverage from publications and organisations around the sport. It helps readers follow current rugby stories, notable players and major international tournaments through topic-based sections and curated headlines. Coverage includes club and international rugby, team selections, match results, player news, rankings, analysis and tournament updates.

The site features dedicated pages for players such as Alun Wyn Jones, Beauden Barrett, Ben Smith, Brodie Retallick, Finn Russell, Liam Williams, Mako Vunipola, Owen Farrell, Tadhg Furlong and Viliame Mata. It also highlights the Rugby World Cup, including its 2019 and 2023 editions. Recent listings span subjects such as pre-season results, national team announcements, club rankings, Six Nations records and Rugby World Cup analysis.

Rather than presenting itself as a team or governing body, Rugby 247 operates as a news and discovery hub, linking to reporting from sources including Rugby Europe, Irish Rugby, FloRugby and other rugby media.
