## Description

The Rugby Football League (RFL) is the governing body for rugby league in England, overseeing the sport from elite competitions to community and grassroots participation. It supports a broad range of formats and pathways, including men’s, women’s, youth, wheelchair, touch, tag, masters, and disability rugby league. Its competitions include the Betfred Super League, Women’s Super League, Wheelchair Super League, Challenge Cups, Championship, and national and regional community leagues. The RFL also governs England’s national teams and provides information on fixtures, results, tables, tickets, and match officials.

Beyond competition administration, the organisation helps people get involved through coaching courses, education, volunteering, club resources, and player development pathways. Its services and initiatives include safeguarding and welfare guidance, inclusion and diversity programmes, anti-discrimination work, and campaigns promoting respect across the game. Fans can access Rugby League content through the Our League membership platform and SuperLeague+, which offers live matches, classic games, and feature content. The RFL also shares news, event information, and resources for players, clubs, coaches, officials, volunteers, and supporters.
