## Description

Run 2 The Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs from the dog meat trade in East Asia and helping them find safe, loving homes. The organization provides medical care and support for survivors, then works to place each dog with a family suited to their needs. Its work includes dogs rescued from slaughter sites and transport, as well as animals with injuries, disabilities, or other special needs.

People can support the mission by adopting a survivor, fostering a dog, sponsoring an individual animal, or making a donation. Contributions help cover essentials such as food, shelter, medical treatment, and travel home. Run 2 The Rescue also shares rescue stories and information about the conditions these dogs face, raising awareness while connecting supporters with ways to help.

Inspired by Sunny, a three-legged Jindo rescued from the trade, the organization has helped hundreds of dogs and placed many in forever homes. Its guiding purpose is to give every rescued dog the chance to heal and live a safe, loving life.
