## Description

Run Barns Green is a volunteer-run annual running event in West Sussex, bringing together local residents, visiting runners and families for races through the scenic countryside. Organised by the Barns Green Half Marathon Committee, the event offers a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and the Jennings Junior Jog, also promoted as a Kids Colour Run for children aged 4 to 11. The 2027 event is scheduled for Sunday, 26 September, with the 5K, Half Marathon, 10K and junior race starting at different times throughout the day. Senior races include closed roads, chip timing, pacers and finisher medals, with water stations on the Half Marathon and 10K routes. Participants can also make use of free parking and a pre-race warm-up. Run Barns Green supports local charities and groups, with St Catherine’s Hospice named as its official charity for 2027. The event’s website provides race information, registration, FAQs, results, photo galleries, news, sponsor details and information about the charities it supports.
