## Description

The Runder Tisch GIS e.V. is one of Germany's largest volunteer-based networks focused on geoinformation, fostering collaboration among government authorities, businesses, and academia. Unlike a traditional triangle, this organization creates an inclusive circle where all participants equally contribute their expertise and exchange interests regarding spatial data and the essential software solutions to manage it.

With a commitment to knowledge transfer and network building, the Runder Tisch GIS e.V. actively promotes educational initiatives, project collaborations, and the support of emerging professionals in the geoinformation field. Its unique competence pools provide avenues for informal knowledge exchange through workshops, events, and publications, enhancing the flow of insights across sectors.

Key initiatives include various forums and meetings, such as the Münchner GI-Runde, 3D Forum in Lindau, and dedicated events focusing on GIS technologies and applications. By subscribing to their newsletter, members and interested parties stay informed about upcoming events, project developments, and opportunities for involvement in the dynamic world of geoinformation.
