## Description

Run for Amy Memorial Trail Race is an annual community fundraising event honoring Amy DiAdamo Foster, who passed away in 2016 after a battle with a rare form of cancer. Created to celebrate her love of running, the outdoors, friendly competition, and bringing people together, the race takes place at Appleton Farms in Ipswich, Massachusetts. The 2026 event is scheduled for October 4 and offers 5K and 10K trail runs, along with an approximately one-mile walk. Participants follow a mix of single-track trails and dirt roads through the farm’s scenic landscape, with prizes for top adult and child finishers. The event also features food and dessert trucks, beverages, and live music, inviting runners and families to stay and socialize after the race. Registration is available for adults and children, and volunteers can help guide participants along the course. Proceeds primarily support cancer research at Dana-Farber and also benefit Appleton Farms and land preservation. The race brings Amy’s passions and commitment to others into a lively, charitable gathering.
