## Description

RunnersHei is a running club that celebrates community and a shared passion for running. Based in locations including Nesbyen, Florø, Fredrikstad, Oslo and Bergen, it brings people together through running events, group outings, Strava challenges and participation in the Holmenkollstafetten. Its featured event, Nesbyen Backyard, invites runners to take on a six- or twelve-hour Backyard Ultra in the scenic Hallingdal region. Participants complete a 6.7-kilometre loop every hour to remain in the race, choosing a challenge suited to their endurance and ambitions. The route is mostly flat and fast, combining asphalt with sections of gravel and trail. Runners who complete at least one loop receive a participant prize, while awards recognize leading competitors and age-group performances; additional prizes are drawn among participants. Registration is handled through EQ Timing, with entry prices increasing as the event approaches and places limited. RunnersHei also provides event information, route and race rules, results, and direct contact support, helping participants prepare for an engaging running experience built around challenge and camaraderie.
