# Runners Web

- **Website:** <https://runnersweb.com>
- **Primary alias:** `runnersweb.com`

## Description

Runners Web, based in Ottawa, Ontario, catered to the running and triathlete community, offering a hub for results and links to races in Ottawa, the National Capital Region, Gloucester, Kanata, Ontario, Canada, and beyond. Unfortunately, the site is now closed as of February 1, 2024, due to the founder's health issues following Open Heart Surgery in October 2023. The founder started the site in 1997 as a hobby driven by a passion for running and sports, never expecting its longevity. The brand sincerely thanks its loyal followers for their support over the years. For more on the brand's journey, check out the Ottawa Sports Pages Story. Though the site may be closed, its legacy lives on through the community it served for decades.
