- **Website:** <https://runrickyrun.net>
- **Primary alias:** `runrickyrun.net`

## Description

Launched in April 2018, the project began with Ricky’s effort to complete the six World Marathon Majors within 12 months, starting with the Boston Marathon. He went on to finish the Berlin, Chicago, New York, Tokyo and London marathons, completing the six-star challenge in April 2019. The campaign raised more than US$25,000 for four charities. Ricky has since continued running, with a record that includes multiple races in London and Tokyo, as well as events in New York, Kuala Lumpur, Boston, Berlin and Chicago.

The project’s ongoing aim is to turn Ricky’s running efforts and social media reach into support for charitable causes. Fundraising includes a partnership with Inseanity to promote running shirts, alongside more traditional donation methods. The site shares information about past and upcoming marathons, Ricky’s running record, charity fundraising, news, newsletters and event updates. It also provides a way for visitors to learn about the project and contribute to its charitable efforts.
