## Description

The Sacramento Running Association (SRA) is a non-profit organization that has been providing world-class running events to the Sacramento area since 1982. Their mission is to encourage people of all ages to lead a healthy lifestyle through running. The SRA is best known for organizing the California International Marathon (CIM), which has been a resounding success since its inception in 1983. In addition to the CIM, the SRA hosts a variety of other running events and programs, including the SACTOWN Run, Youth XC Series, and Run the Parkway. They also provide funds and resources to both internal and community beneficiaries. By promoting fitness through running and attracting top athletes, the SRA aims to put Sacramento, California on the map as a premier running community.
