## Description

Run to the Sky is a running event series by PABO Organisation, created to bring runners onto legendary mountain passes traditionally associated with cycling. Its road races feature significant elevation gain and are designed as immersive challenges, combining iconic routes and dramatic mountain scenery with an encouraging, non-time-focused approach. Participants can take on a climb on foot, tackle gamified challenges and segment rankings along the course, and celebrate at The SKY, a festive finish-area village at the summit.

The series’ first edition is scheduled for 13 June 2027, with the Semi de l’Alpe d’Huez presented as its inaugural event. Runners and interested participants can join the free Club du 22e virage to receive an email alert when registration opens, access the guaranteed Early Bird price of €47.25, and get a complimentary 16-week elevation-specific training plan upon registration. Run to the Sky positions its events as a memorable way to leave the valley behind, conquer a famous ascent, and experience mountain running in a celebratory setting.
