## Description

The Rural FASD Support Network is a volunteer-founded, community-based non-profit serving people affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and those who care for them. Based in Eastern Ontario, the network supports rural communities including Lanark County and Leeds and Grenville, while making assistance available across Ontario. Its services are for children, youth, and adults living with or suspected of having FASD, as well as caregivers, families, educators, and service providers.

The organization connects individuals and families with guidance, peer support, and respite options, and offers youth programs, caregiver support, and training to help educators and service providers build FASD-informed practices. A formal diagnosis is not required to seek help. People can begin by contacting the network by email or phone; staff listen, ask questions, and help identify an appropriate next step. Support is available in person and online across Ontario.

The network also shares FASD information, lived-experience stories, and community events, including caregiver meetings and Red Shoes Run activities. Donations help people access care, connection, and understanding.
