## Description

RuView is an open-source, camera-free WiFi sensing platform that turns ESP32 microcontrollers and a local gateway into a system for detecting human presence and movement. Using Channel State Information (CSI) from standard WiFi signals, it analyzes how radio waves change as they pass through rooms and interact with people. Its edge-based processing can identify occupancy, activity, breathing, and other subtle motion, including when someone is stationary, and can detect movement through interior walls.

Designed for privacy-conscious homeowners, researchers, and developers, RuView processes sensing data locally rather than requiring cloud telemetry, helping keep signal information within the user’s network.
