## Description

RxLaboratorio is a dynamic, international nonprofit organization focused on fostering a collaborative community centered around free and open-source software for motion picture production. Established in France, RxLaboratorio promotes equality, financial independence, and mutual assistance, advocating for an ethical approach to creativity that challenges traditional mercantilism. The organization emerged in 2021 from the talented endeavors of Nicolas “Duduf” Dufresne and his pioneering work on the Duik animation tool, which paved the way for a variety of innovative software developed under accessible licenses.

Committed to transparency and community empowerment, RxLaboratorio not only supports artists and filmmakers with tools and resources but also encourages them to share their creations under the GNU General Public License. The organization operates with a philosophy rooted in cooperation and sustainability, drawing inspiration from community-supported models. Members are invited to actively contribute, benefiting from resources while enhancing the reach and impact of their work within the film community. With a focus on education, collaboration, and respect for nature, RxLaboratorio is dedicated to enabling creative freedom for all.
