## Description

Studia Cyprologica Berolinensia e.V., also known as Berlin Cyprus Studies, is a society dedicated to advancing scientific research on the ancient history and archaeology of Cyprus. Working independently and with German and international organisations and institutions with similar aims, it supports research into Cypriot antiquity, particularly the island’s archaeological remains. The society contributes to this work by organising or promoting scholarly lectures, conferences and exhibitions, and by supporting and editing academic publications and arranging scientific expeditions.

Its projects include archaeological research at Ancient Idalion, investigations into the site’s topography and territory, and studies of the archaeologist Max Ohnefalsch-Richter and his work in Cyprus. The society also shares updates from field seasons and excavations through its website. Its activities extend to postgraduate scholarship through Postgraduate Cypriot Archaeology (PoCA), which convenes meetings and invites academic contributions. Publications, events and exhibitions offer opportunities to explore Cyprus’s ancient landscapes, material culture and archaeological history. Studia Cyprologica Berolinensia also provides a newsletter for readers seeking news about its research, projects and events.
