## Description

SABnzbd is an open-source software project offering a free, easy-to-use binary newsreader for managing downloads. Its current release is version 5.1.3, with downloads for multiple platforms and packages for Linux systems. The application runs on Windows, macOS, Unix, and NAS devices, and can be accessed through a web browser on computers, tablets, and phones, including iOS and Android devices.

Its responsive Glitter interface adapts to different screen sizes and provides tools for configuring and monitoring downloads. Users can manage individual files within a job, review download history, view active connections, set speed limits or timed pauses, and adjust settings and interface preferences, including night mode and tabbed layout.

SABnzbd connects with other software to support automated download workflows. It integrates with tools such as Sonarr, SickChill, Radarr, Headphones, and Lidarr, and can process RSS feeds, run custom scripts, and send notifications. The software includes 16 language localizations. Documentation, a wiki, FAQ, configuration guidance, extensions, API references, community support, and source code are available through its website and project channels.
