## Description

SabrangIndia is a brand that aims to provide valuable information and foster social change in India. Founded in response to the rise of right-wing majoritarian organizations and the subsequent communal climate in the early 1990s, SabrangIndia's mission is to combat divisive politics and promote communal harmony. The brand began with the launch of the monthly journal Communalism Combat in 1993, which focused on upholding the principles and values of secular democracy, non-discrimination, and equal opportunities. As a partisan journal, SabrangIndia actively campaigned against prejudice, discrimination, religious intolerance, and extremism in all forms. It also shed light on the plight of religious minorities not just in India, but also in neighboring countries. Despite financial challenges, the journal gained national and international recognition for its integrity and journalistic ethics. After a hiatus, SabrangIndia has now relaunched, reaffirming its commitment to fostering harmony and countering hate in today's climate of growing intolerance. By offering serious content in a reader-friendly manner, SabrangIndia aims to be a platform for informed discussions and dialogue.
