## Description

The South Australian Clay Target Association Incorporated (SACTA) is the state-level organisation for clay target shooting in South Australia. It brings together clubs across three zones: Eastern, Central and Western. Each zone holds annual elections to appoint its committee and representatives to the SACTA State Executive. The association supports a broad network of affiliated clubs, from Bordertown and Mount Gambier to Port Lincoln, Port Pirie and Broken Hill.

SACTA promotes and coordinates the sport through information for newcomers, safety guidance, coaching resources, club administration support and member services. Its event program includes competitions and state carnivals in DTL, Skeet, ISSF and Sporting Clays, with calendars, nominations and results available to participants. The association also shares news, event updates, photographs, videos and historical records, including state title winners and Hall of Fame inductees. Members can access SACTA merchandise, policies, forms and shooting rules. SACTA’s website additionally lists corporate days and functions, club events and sponsor information, helping connect shooters, clubs and supporters throughout the state.
