## Description

Sadowsky Guitars is an instrument maker founded by Roger Sadowsky, who has been building and refining instruments since 1979. Based in Long Island City, New York, the company draws on Roger’s experience in guitar and bass repair, restoration, and acoustic guitar building. Its approach combines carefully selected materials, skilled workmanship, thoughtful design, and attention to musicians’ needs, with a focus on lightweight, resonant instruments and the distinctive Sadowsky sound.

The company makes basses, electric guitars, archtop guitars, and electric nylon-string guitars. Its range includes NYC Custom instruments, such as S-Style and T-Style guitars, Broadway models, and basses in several configurations, including signature designs associated with artists such as Will Lee, Verdine White, and Tully Kennedy. Archtop offerings include the Jim Hall, Semi Hollow, SS-15, and other models. Sadowsky also features Satin Series instruments and lists MetroLine and MetroExpress basses, which are produced under license by Warwick. Customers can browse available instruments, order custom builds, explore specifications and options, and access support resources, replacement parts, accessories, and merchandise through the company’s website.
