Established in 1996, it was born from the personal mission of a couple to develop a solution for this pressing issue. The foundation offers various programs that focus on providing a safe and nurturing home for girls, enabling them to complete their education, pursue their dreams, and gain the skills needed to be self-sufficient.

These programs include Haven's Way, Haven's Harbour, Educational Bursary Program, Therapeutic Recreation Program, and an Alumni Program. Safe Haven Foundation also values building community and natural supports for these girls, as they understand that sometimes the street feels safer than home.
