## Description

Safe Haven Rescue Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Hudson, New York, dedicated to providing a safe haven for equine animals removed from the slaughter pipeline. The organization introduces visitors to its rescued horses and shares their individual stories, helping people understand how horses enter the slaughter pipeline and how they can help. Its website features rescues in residence, horses in training, and alumni, with opportunities to learn about the animals and follow their progress.

Safe Haven Rescue offers several ways to support its work, including donations, sponsorships, volunteering, and participation in events. Contributions help cover the daily care and necessities of the rescued horses. Visitors are welcome by appointment at the organization’s physical location on County Route 27 in Hudson. The rescue also shares updates through Facebook and acknowledges the veterinary care provided by Rhinebeck Equine and farrier services from Andrew Elsbree. People interested in the horses, volunteering, or supporting the organization can contact Safe Haven Rescue directly for more information.
