## Description

SafeNet is the Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre dedicated to promoting online safety for children and young people. Established in 2005 by the Applied Research and Communications Fund alongside the Parents Association, SafeNet operates a national helpline to support children facing online dangers. The center offers a variety of services, including educational programs tailored for children, parents, and teachers to raise awareness about the common and emerging online threats. These initiatives encompass training sessions, resources, and helpful materials on issues such as cyberbullying, data privacy, and the importance of strong passwords.

Moreover, SafeNet provides a platform for reporting illegal or harmful online content, enabling the community to contribute to a safer internet environment. Regularly updated with the latest news and initiatives, SafeNet engages with the public on current online risks, ensuring that information remains accessible and relevant. Their mission is to foster a secure and informed digital space, advocating for the well-being of children in the ever-evolving online landscape.
