With extensive experience in agriculture extension and education, we have successfully managed our own activities and collaborated with partners to implement a wide range of programs. Our vision is to create a poverty-free, vibrant, and sustainable food-secure world, while our mission is to improve technical knowledge, farm production, productivity, and livelihoods of smallholder farmers in East Africa. As a farmer-centered and youth-led social enterprise, SAFI contributes to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 1 (No Poverty), Goal 2 (Zero Hunger), and Goal 13 (Climate Action). Through strategic partnerships, SAFI promotes economic growth, sustainable farming practices, and climate action. We raise awareness, design and implement tree planting projects, and support smallholder farmers to increase their productivity and income.
