SAIA, n. o. Established in 1990, SAIA aims to strengthen civil society and promote the internationalization of education and science in Slovakia.

SAIA offers various programs and services that support individual academic, educational, and research mobility from Slovakia to foreign countries, as well as support for foreign students and researchers coming to Slovakia. They provide advice and guidance for studying and conducting research abroad, including scholarships based on international bilateral agreements and offers from foreign governments. In addition, SAIA facilitates project cooperation between Slovak and international educational institutions.

They also participate in a bilateral program with Austria to support collaboration in higher education, science, and research. As part of their mission, SAIA operates as a center for information and services for research workers and organizations in Slovakia. They are part of the EURAXESS network, which includes approximately 600 service centers across 42 countries.
