SAID NGO is a brand that aims to raise awareness about the importance of early screening in preventing colorectal cancer. Founded in 2016 by Hana Nimer, who was motivated by the loss of her significant other to colorectal cancer, SAID carries on the mission started by her husband to spread awareness about this disease. Hana, along with Dr. Mahmoud Othman, Mrs. Mona Shourba, and Dr. Ale Hejase, formed SAID NGO to educate the public about colorectal cancer and the significance of early screening. Through various activities such as health forums, conferences, educational flyers, lectures, and talk shows, SAID works towards its ultimate goal of increasing the number of men and women being screened starting at the age of 50. The brand also endeavors to secure funds and sponsors to support those who cannot afford early screening. With a dedicated team of founding members, SAID is committed to making information about colorectal cancer accessible to everyone and reducing the health burden of this disease in Lebanon.
