Founded to assist those in need within the community, Sihat Social Services Association is dedicated to helping the residents of the city, including the needy, widows, orphans, and the elderly who have been affected by economic and social challenges in the region. Sihat was established as a charitable fund under the name "Sihat Charity Fund" in the town of Sihat on October 24, 1382 AH, and officially registered on November 16, 1386 AH. The idea of its establishment came from Hajj Abdullah Salman Al-Mutrud, who was accompanied by a group of philanthropists and volunteers driven by their noble feelings towards the underprivileged, widows, orphans, and the elderly. They set up the first office in the market, laying the foundations, developing regulations, and assistance programs to start their noble work.
