## Description

Sailing Scores is a cloud-based race management and yacht racing statistics platform designed for regattas and fleets of any size. Its stated mission is to make sailboat racing more accessible by keeping scoring free and developing tools that help reduce the cost of participating in the sport. Organizers can create events, coordinate schedules through an event calendar, and manage participant check-ins and crew weigh-ins. The service supports One Design regattas, youth racing, and PHRF scoring, including time-on-distance scoring.

Sailing Scores also provides searchable, multidimensional racing data, allowing users to explore results by regatta, class, boat, skipper, crew position, and event. Crew management features include a shared racer directory and tools for finding people by position, class, and past scores. Organizers can notify participants by text, email, or messenger, and reach registered past participants within a selected radius. The platform is designed for access across devices, with scalable servers for events and users worldwide.
