Its primary mission is to ensure impartial verification and ratification of speed records set by sailing crafts on water, excluding ice and land records. The Council oversees a structured process for recording impressive feats of speed across various types of vessels, including windsurfers and kiteboards, and maintains a dedicated focus on one-way leg records of exactly 500 meters. In addition to speed ratification, the WSSRC also handles offshore sailing records, further enhancing its role in the sport. Members from Australia, France, Great Britain, and the USA contribute their expertise to the council, actively certifying records and issuing Performance Certificates for sailors targeting established courses. With a commitment to maintaining the integrity of speed records, WSSRC does not recognize claims based on age or other personal attributes, emphasizing speed and time as core criteria for record-setting achievements. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Water Sports _(under Sports)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idzKqxFhOF/w/300/h/125/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1780542062676) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Royal Blue | #3875e9 | accent | | Cod Gray | #191919 | dark | | New Orleans | #f1c798 | light | ## Fonts - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
