## Description

The SA Journal of Human Resource Management (SAJHRM) serves as a vital academic resource, offering a platform for innovative, peer-reviewed research in the fields of employment studies and people management. Targeted at enhancing human resource management practices within Africa's diverse labour market, the journal explores a wide range of topics including training, employee relations, performance management, and retention strategies.

Initially founded by Professor Gert Roodt and his colleagues, the SAJHRM has evolved into an open access publication under AOSIS Publishing, ensuring that critical research is accessible to a broader audience without barriers. The journal publishes at least one annual issue while also distributing articles online as they become ready. It maintains rigorous academic standards through a double-blinded peer review process.

Accredited by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), SAJHRM is indexed in multiple reputable databases, enhancing its credibility and outreach. The journal is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic insights and practical applications in human resource management throughout South Africa and the wider African continent.
