# 前玉神社 - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `sakitama-jinja.com` ## Description Sakitama Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine in Gyoda, Saitama Prefecture, next to the Sakitama Kofun Group. Built atop the ancient burial mound known as Sengen-zuka, the shrine is dedicated to Sakitama-hiko-no-mikoto and Sakitama-hime-no-mikoto, deities associated with protection and happiness. The shrine describes itself as the origin of Saitama Prefecture’s name and notes that it was formerly written as “幸魂神社,” meaning a shrine of fortunate souls. Visitors come to pray for well-being, romantic fulfillment, and marital harmony. The shrine also offers prayers for life milestones, seasonal observances, and construction-related requests. Its grounds include several associated shrines, including Sengen Shrine, as well as sites dedicated to other deities. Sakitama Shrine shares information about its history, traditions, annual events, and visiting arrangements through its website. It also issues limited-edition commemorative stamps, including a recurring cat-themed series, and hosts seasonal programs and events such as shrine-ground illuminations and traditional performances. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Faith and Beliefs _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/sakitama_jinja) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id8KaLsE-h/w/560/h/105/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793151287177) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id8KaLsE-h/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793151287277) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Red | #e50000 | accent | | Mine Shaft | #333333 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Helvetica Neue — asset _(custom)_ - メイリオ — asset _(custom)_ ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id8KaLsE-h/w/1500/h/500/idhMiR0PgL.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793151287426) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
