## Description

The School of Salamanca is an interdisciplinary and international project dedicated to creating a comprehensive digital collection of sources and a dictionary focused on the juridical-political language of the influential School of Salamanca. Collaboratively operated by the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz, the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory, and Goethe University Frankfurt, this initiative aims to preserve and disseminate critical historical texts.

The Digital Collection features full texts and digital copies of significant works from the School of Salamanca, alongside essential reference materials. Researchers and scholars can easily access these texts through a user-friendly website equipped with a sophisticated search function, enhancing the exploration of early modern Latin and Spanish literature. In addition to the collections, the project offers a Dictionary of Juridical-Political Language, providing insightful, source-based interpretations of key terms used by the School’s authors. This project not only serves as an invaluable academic resource but also fosters a deeper understanding of this rich intellectual tradition.
