With a rich history dating back to 1909, our library is dedicated to providing equal and open access to information for our community. We offer a wide range of services to help individuals of all ages achieve their educational and vocational goals. Our three branch libraries, John Steinbeck Library, Cesar Chavez Library, and El Gabilan Library, are open 7 days a week, offering a collection of over 100,000 books, magazines, movies, and audiobooks. We take great pride in our Steinbeck Special Collection, featuring over a thousand books, articles, and artifacts. In addition, we have recently launched our Digital Branch, which provides a vast array of online resources, databases, instructional software, eBooks, eMagazines, and streaming movies.
