## Description

Salina Tennis Alliance (STA) is a nonprofit organization based in Salina, Kansas, dedicated to making tennis accessible to people of all ages and skill levels. Its mission is to provide youth, families, and adults with affordable access to quality facilities and tennis programming, helping reduce the costs often associated with the sport. In partnership with the City of Salina and supported by local businesses, foundations, families, and private donors, STA developed a public, 12-court community tennis center in Kenwood Park, completed in late 2022. The center hosts affordable clinics, private, semi-private, and group lessons, and open-court play. Programming serves juniors and adults, from beginners to advanced players, and includes entry-level and competitive tournaments, social mixers, free-play opportunities, and special events. STA also offers scholarship opportunities to help participants access its programs. Through its facilities and activities, the organization supports community participation and opportunities to learn, practice, and enjoy tennis in the Salina area.
